The Barcelona Academy of Art presents a new edition of its Easter and Summer Intensive Courses, an exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in figurative art through the practice of drawing, painting and sculpture. These programs, renowned for their academic rigor and classical approach, are designed for both beginners and advanced artists who wish to refine their technique in a professional and creative environment.
During Easter Week, the Academy offers four courses focused on working from life and building a solid foundation in the classical disciplines: Figure Drawing, Introduction to Portrait Painting in Oil, Figure Sculpture, and Portrait Sculpture. All courses are open to students of all levels and combine observation, anatomy, and traditional techniques to strengthen the essential skills of figurative artists.
In the Summer Courses, participants can choose from a wide range of intensive programs including Figure Drawing and Painting, Portrait Painting in Oil, Figure Sculpture, and Portrait Sculpture. There is also a 5-Week Intensive Course, highly recommended for beginners, and a Special Workshop with Patrick Byrnes: Portrait Drawing in “Trois Crayons”, focused on the classical three-pencil technique for portrait study.
